During a Pandemic
Limit the Spread of Germs and Prevent Infection
- Social distancing maintaining distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) from others.
- Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing with a tissue or bend your arm and use the inner elbow to help protect the spread of sputum (saliva).
- Washing your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds or use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol often, will help protect you from germs.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
- Stay home and stay away from others when you are sick.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces with a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
Call ahead to your doctor’s office if you have symptoms
- Fever (Temperature of more than 100 degrees)
- Cough
- Sore throat
If you or someone close to you has a fever, cough or shortness of breath, contact your doctor’s office. They will direct you on the next step.
